Christmas Snow

More snow in Los Alamos. Spent Christmas first by hiking a couple of runs at the ski hill and then enjoying a Christmas dinner with friends.

Snow!

We had a good snow storm last night. I went out and shoveled my driveway and it was snowing so hard that there was already additional accumulation before I was finished. And then the wind was blowing snow drifts in my driveway. I let the dogs out for a little bit and they got completely covered with snow. I leave you with a photo of Nova.

Swim PR

Went for a swim this morning and go a new mile PR. Did it in 29:10. Not too bad.

What is the Beist

Where did the Beist come from? The short story is that my last name (Geist) got misspelled on a participant list to an ultra run and then "The Biest" caught on among my friends. This blog hopefully will follow the activites of The Beist.
